Dark Mythology

This is a detail from a book cover I created for now-defunct Freaky Fountain press.  The figures are Saraswati (a Hindu goddess), Bastet (an Egyptian goddess), and a young angel reading a mythology book and learning about these goddesses from ancient times, conjuring them up from the depths where they have been forgotten. They seem pleased to be here, and I'm honored to draw them.
